This little beauty was recommended to us by one of our merchants as their current favourite, and boy were they on the money. Barbera is a grape variety found in the Piedmont region of Italy and is known as 'the people's wine'. It appears very dark because of the pigments in the grape skins but is surprisingly light and full of fruit, which gets your mouth salivating for more. Don't be surprised to see the bottle empty a bit sooner than you thought!
