A great alternative to a straight Barossa Shiraz if you're looking to expand your repertoire. SMG is a combination of Shiraz, Mataro and Grenache which has been blended in the Barossa since the 1800s. Depending on the ratios it can be a GSM under other labels. Langmeil produces a consistently spectacular blend with their Three Gardens. A BBQ classic.
