We enjoyed a bottle of 2007 Cape Mentelle Shiraz at a small dinner party recently. Our wine friends are strictly forbidden to use any wanky wine terms and so descriptors such as 'the Gravitron' and 'it never ends' were used instead. Non-verbal descriptors included big smiles, less talking and not-so-subtle reaches for the decanter to re-fill their glasses. A winner.
